Evolution of the Microscope
You need a Communicator 4.0 or Internet Explorer 4.0 browser to explore the microscope interactive. To get more photos and information with your 3.0 browser, visit the microscope showcase instead.
Instructions
- The timeline along the left side of the screen features three early microscopes.
- Click on any one of the three choices to go to a microscope mini-exhibit.
- Once inside a mini-exhibit, there are "micro-icons" in the exhibit which are hotlinked. You can roll your mouse around to find them; they change color when you roll over them.
- When you click on a micro-icon, a description will appear. Once you have read the description, you can click anywhere on the description to make it go away.
- Now you're ready to
